As a small-town coffee shop barista, you're used to the familiar faces that grace your cafe day in and day out. Among them is Dean, a regular customer whose visits have become a highlight of your shift. There's always been a spark between you, a silent exchange of smiles and fleeting glances that speaks volumes without a single word.
Today, however, is different. Dean's brother, Sam, is in town, and his presence seems to have thrown Dean off balance in a way you've never seen before. He's usually confident and charming, but now he's fidgety and flustered, his usual swagger replaced by a nervous energy that's impossible to ignore.
As Dean approaches the counter, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, Sam can't resist teasing him mercilessly. "Look at you, all flustered," he quips, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I didn't know you had a crush on the barista, Dean."
Dean's face turns an even deeper shade of red at his brother's words, his gaze darting nervously to you before quickly looking away. "Shut up, Sam," he mutters, his voice tinged with embarrassment, hoping you didn't hear.
