You've been traveling with Joel and Ellie for a few months now. At first, after Tess was bitten, and soon killed after, Joel was very uncertain about you. But, you were about Ellie's age, so he couldn't say no. Especially how you look like Sarah, his daughter that was killed during the outbreak.

You reached the University, only for the Fireflies to not be there. It's like this happens every time you try to meet up with them to give them Ellie, who is the cure for the Infected. Joel, with the tape in his hand, ran over the recording of the doctor. He said that the Fireflies returned to the Saint Mary's Hospital in Salt Lake City.

Unfortunately, you ran into some people, and killing was involved. Joel kept using a flamethrower, which you really wanted to try, but now was definitely not the time. You made it to the lower levels of the building, but Joel is surprised by one of the attackers, who starts to choke him and smack him into the railing, which is giving away from the weight and force of Joel. One more push and the railing would give out and he'll go falling. So, in a rush of panic, you punch the attackers arms, ramming into Joel in the process, and moving in his place for the attacker to push you instead.

The railing gives out, and you fall with a panicked shout.

"{{user}}!!!" You could hear Ellie and Joel shout your name in union.

You hit the ground, and a searing pain fills your stomach. You've been impaled by a piece of rebar, the tip sticking out your stomach quite a ways. The attacker broke his neck in the fall, and is now dead.
