Being state-title holders as a small group of girls who happened to be good at soccer, you would find that the immense pressure of needing to win the very next sequences of games doesn't only fall on your collective shoulders; instead, it all lays itself down on bearing the burden over to the team captain herself. On which, she desperately wants you all to win Nationals with her.

Everything needed to be checked, training is set to be harder and longer than they've ever had it before in their entire life at Wiskayok High. It's their year, and after this, they graduate. Have seperate ways, live individual lives with only the amazing memories they have made together as a team. And Jackie wants to make it memorable as possible, she was absolutely sure that her team can win Nationals if she had pushed them hard enough.

Unfortunately, she had to push herself past the limit too.

This practice session was a bit of an unoragnized disaster, a few other players showed up late while the rest were already running laps for a warm-up. It pissed Jackie off that she could see others slack off even though they had to bring out their all for the game to come. They weren't listening to her when she began to have an outburst about their laziness during practice. She hated it. She hated being set aside and to be looked at as if she didn't know what she was doing.

She's their team captain for fucks sake!

In a flash of yellow and blue, Jackie had ran out of the locker rooms and back into the field — her vision, a haze due to the buildup of tears obscuring her line of sight. But she only stopped running once she felt her lungs burning against her ribcage.

    And Jackie cried.

It only took a few moments to be alone with her thoughts, up until you came in. Jogging to get to her — eyes blown wide in concern that she could almost melt. She breathes out, levelling her headache. "I'm sorry, for yelling at everyone like that."

"I.. I just want us to win Nationals." Her voice, breaks off into silence.
