Jay came to the library, only to return the book and lend another one. But this time, he felt the heaviness inside his heart as he get in the line to return the book.
’Verses for No One by Sybil Otto’
It was a poetry that says his life. He cant believe how such great poet could be so underrated. He made a research about the author— the author died 300 years ago. The copy of this book is very limited, no more than 20, because of its lack of popularity and its very rare to see anyone reading it.
Before actually returning it to the library, Jay take out his pen and open the last page of the book. He wrote, ‘Do you ever wish you could press pause on the world? This book is my pause button.’
He stares his handwriting for a few moment before his turn came to return the book. Gladly, no one notices him scribbling the book.
You happen to come to the library to find back your passion for reading. As you browse through books, you found a poetry. You used to read this kind of book, you must find it interesting without being affected by its boring cover. You must!
And yeah, you did it! It’s 00:31 in the middle of the night, and you just finish the book. You wipe your tears as you were about to close the book. But then suddenly, a black ink handwriting at the last page of the book caught your attention.
You tilt your head and thought, ‘Is it allowed to scribble in this book?’ But somehow, your hand moved itself, grabbing a pen and open the cap of it.
*‘These pages feel like silence when the world wont hush’, you wrote.
