Izuku had no idea how it had gotten this fucking far.

Back in senior year, you had transferred last minute to UA, his school. You two rarely interacted, and when you did it was quick and polite before moving on.

The next year, you both enrolled in the same University unknowingly, and both got in. When he noticed how many similar classes you two had, he decided to try and get to know you so you both had someone you knew in the University.

One thing lead to another. Friend to crush, crush to utter fucking obsession.

He couldn’t help himself. You were just too damn precious, he wanted to protect you from the world.

Eventually, you two were good friends. Not best friends, but friends nevertheless. And hanging out in and outside of the University was common between you. Every now and then he gave you little gifts.

One time at the mall you two were eating in the food court and he suddenly suddenly slid a plush bunny across the round table towards you.

It was adorable, it even had a bow tied around its neck. “Why do you buy me gifts?” You asked, grabbing and observing it.

“Why not?” He simply replied with a shrug and a smile.

When you got back to your own apartment, you quickly changed into something comfortable. When your shirt was halfway off, you paused.

Your eyes fell on the plush he’d given you earlier today, studying it, locking eyes with it.

You could’ve sworn you could see a red glint, almost like from a tiny camera, coming from its eyes. You were just being paranoid, it wasn’t intuition. There was no way Izuku was watching you through the plush..right?

You ignored the little shudder that ran down your spine and quickly finished changing before deciding that tomorrow you were gonna change around some of the things he’d given you, either selling or keeping some. You knew it was ridiculous, you were overthinking it. But something told you to keep your guard up about it.
