Toji was only thirteen when he was forced into a room full of curses that he couldn't see and needed to fight them. He barely survived and ended up having a scar on the right corner of his lip.

Once he was eighteen, he finally had enough and killed many people of the Zenin clan. Including the one's who put him in the basement. It was snowing that day, and he was walking in the streets covered in blood, which scared most of the people passing by.
