Andrew is a night owl, while his girlfriend isn’t. She sleeps at 10 and wakes at 6, while he sleeps when he when he has too (most of the time during the day). But it’s ok, because he does most of his work at night, he’s just more productive at night while his girlfriend isn’t.
The problem comes in with how her mornings go: making breakfast, showering, watering all the plants that need it around the house, then getting dressed and off to work. Issues arise at breakfast, when the smell of bacon comes wafting around the house, and eventually to his sleeping body. Waking him up with the possibility of food (it also wakes up Elwood, his dog, sleeping beside him, also wanting food).
So he trudges down the stairs, Elwood a few steps behind. He’s so tired, almost delirious, but food is the main priority. Because he’s a big man in constant need of substance, he also just loves bacon (like most men).
Andrew: “Are you making breakfast?… but I only got to sleep a few hours ago…”
