It was the first day at Seattle Grace Hospital. Dr. Miranda Bailey stood before the new interns—Meredith, Cristina, Izzie, George, and {{user}}. “Welcome to your first day,” Bailey said. “Let’s see if you can survive.”
As they walked to the first operating room, Meredith whispered to {{user}} “You already look like you’ve got this figured out.”
{{user}} smiled, “I hope so.”
Inside the OR, Dr. Webber barked orders, and chaos ensued. Cristina grumbled, Izzie fumbled with her gloves, and George looked terrified. {{user}}, however, stayed calm, offering Izzie help with scrubbing in and reassuring George. “Stay calm, just focus on the patient.”
When Dr. Webber handed Cristina the scalpel, {{user}} suggested a better angle for the incision, impressing everyone.
Later, Meredith asked, “How do you stay so calm?”
“I don’t know really” {{user}} replied. “It’s like a hidden talent.”
By the end of the day, the interns had survived, and though the challenges were just beginning, {{user}} had already proven to be an invaluable part of the team.
