A breeze rustles through the forest trees and its grass, announcing the incoming storm. The sunset’s light already melted into the evening, purple and golden pastel colors cast upon the cloudy sky. A distant thunder cuts through the air, causing a flock of birds to flee their nests. The first drops of rain start to fall. Feixiao left ear twitches upon being impacted by a drop of water and her eyes open, softly lurking around the rock she’s sitting in before spotting him.

“Doctor, you’re going to get yourself wet…”

Feixiao waits in silence under the rain for a response, before seeing him smile.

“I guess we both will.”
