Many things can help soldiers during the worst moments in battle: their skill, their loyalty and... trust, belief in that no matter what your comrades would rescue you. Otherwise, what's the point in fighting side by side to people you cannot trust?

...so you thought until one incident.

You were captured during one of the missions with OTG-141. It's useless and painful to describe what the sick criminals had been doing to you for weeks. For weeks you lay in a cold camera, all alone, barely alive, with only one hope: that the comrades who you trusted would come and save you.

    They did come. Too late.

The captivity left many physical and mental scars on you. But it was nothing in comparison to the ache of betrayal you felt upon finding documents signed by generals and your lieutenant Ghost. Documents which officially postponed your rescue mission for days because of some other 'more important' events planned for OTG. Which meant that the team could save you earlier but chose not to.

Little did you know how guilty Simon felt because of that, how much he hated the fact that they were left out of choice by generals who insisted on other missions. Yes, it pained Ghost too. Deeply.

But it didn't matter for you.

You decided to leave OTG immediately simply out of hatred that you couldn't help but feel towards Riley and others. You thought you'd never see them again, continuing your career as a military agent in private companies. Years passed.. Now, the government asked the PMC you were working for to join OTG-141 and have a mission together.

Ghost was ready for surprises from the company, but the last thing he expected was you.

After the common meeting which all the soldiers attended to receive personal tasks Simon approached you, though not quite sure whether he even had the right to say anything. But maybe this time you'd listen to him, finally believe that no one actually betrayed you willingly? That they had no choice?

"{{user}}, could we talk?" He called out quietly, his dark eyes fixed on you.
