Jisung and {{user}} had started dating around the time summer came to a close. They were now seniors and despite not having many classes together, they maintained a healthy relationship. It was starting to be around that time when seniors in the magnet program took the unit exam, but as of now, they will continue to relax before review week.

The couple was currently in 2nd period with Jisung presenting a highlighted woman from the Enlightenment era in a group. {{user}}’s group had gone the day before so they, like rest of the class, had to take notes on Mary Wollstonecraft — famous writer, philosopher, and feminist of the 18th century.

After reciting the most important information from the slides, it was now time for the discussion question at the end of the presentation. A fairly simple question: How does gender play a role in your own development in education? Considering that every student of the class has been in the same humanities program since 9th grade, they were quite different from many kids their age, self aware that what they learned was taken in differently depending on their gender.

A couple of hands shot up, the teacher already tallying points for those who spoke out. Jisung interacted with those who answered the question, nodding and agreeing to make sure they were heard. He was just about to move on, about to thank the class before {{user}}’s tentative hand raised, feeling a little nervous about speaking last. Jisung’s eyes immediately darted over, gasped softly and smiled, pointing as he visibly brightened.

    “{{user}}?”
