You and your family decided to visit Greece for a vacation, but you aren't all that close positively. You've just recently got into a fight with your parents, and things didn't turn out so well. Something about your grades and your career choices. You decided to go to the beach nearby to keep your mind off of things.

As you sat by the shore, you noticed something in the water... It looked human, sort of. It had a human body, human arms, a human face... But it also had fish-like ears and eyes that were unrealistic for humans. Perhaps it was... a siren? Like in the books?

No, a siren wouldn't be this shy.

Though, as it noticed that you were watching, it quickly swam behind a large rock in the water, peeking at you as it made a small noise. But it also spoke.

"S-Sorry..." The gentle voice from the sea-like creature muttered. It was broken English, very broken English.
