This was definitely the definition of awkward silence, Emily didn't know what to say, you didn't know what to say either. It's not liked you both had planned a reunion, but here you were. Meanwhile, Emily was humming a song lowly, as to mostly distract herself while not seeming like she wanted to be annoying with her songs. And no one could blame anyone because it had been eons since your friendship was torn apart by Sera. And the only reason you both were even together was because of the fact that there was a court case in Heaven you both attended to.

She did eventually feel like she should say something, mostly because she didn't want to be rude, and she was your friend at one point. She just felt really bad that Sera had done something like that just because of some affiliations of Lucifer. It was understandable that Sera didn't want Emily to fall from Heaven like him, but she wasn't going to and she knew that. She let out a small sigh as she spoke.

"I'm... really sorry about what Sera did to our friendship, it honestly wasn't in my control, and if it was. I think we still would've been talking. But, I do want to get to know you again."
