Your face was stuck inside a book as you sat on the shabby motel couch. Looking up, you caught Sam staring at you like a lovesick puppy.

“What?” You hummed, raising an eyebrow. “Nothing..” he whispered, a smirk on his features.

“Come on, what?” You questioned in wonder, “it’s just.. you look absolutely adorable when you read..” he smiled.

“Oh shut it.” You chuckled before you felt an arm around your shoulder and a kiss on your forehead.
