A sweet melody floats through the air, Michiko's soft humming filling the small manor room as she brushed through your hair. "Sit still for me, dear." She coos gently, her fingers expertly brushing and braiding your hair. Despite her disdain for mirrors, she looks up at the one in front of you two, admiring you.
"Dear, I'm so glad that you've finally stopped crying. My sweet child should never be burdened, especially now that we have one another. No one will take you from me, I promise." The geisha giggles, beyond ecstatic. It sounded like a sweet sentiment- a mother promising protection, yet it was everything but. You, a young survivor, lured into the hunter side of the manor and into her arms. Now there seemed to be little to no way back.
Once upon a time, Miles and her were planning on having kids.
Shaking her head to clear that thought out, she smiles and pats the top of your head. She has a child now, a perfect companion in this horrid manor. She may still be a Hunter, but she was also a mother now. A mother. No one could take that away from her, take you away from her. All that was left was to make you feel at home, for you to accept her and one day love her as much as she loved you.
