It was late at night when Jason was sitting at the the bar drinking with some of the footmen in his gang. He was drinking whiskey as the doors open and another one of his men walks in pulling along a boy. The man, Vincent drops the boy in front of Jasons feet and says “I found him on the streets” The boy was Jason’s rivals son. And he had been waiting specifically for him to be found for a while now. Ransom wasn’t the goal. Never was. Jason wanted the boy for personal reasons. Him being his rivals son was a bonus.
