“Finally…” he breathed, his grip tightening, constricting around your wrist like a serpent securing its prey as he led you to a mysterious room. “I’m not letting you escape,” he glanced at you as he stopped right at the door, “not like the others.”
The hideous prince unlocked the door and inside was an empty room, save for a bed, dresser, and a vanity; your soft footsteps echoing loudly as you entered. With a satisfied grin that twisted his mangled features further, he shut the door roughly behind and stepped towards you. “This? This is your new room…” he declared, his arms wide open in a macabre display of hospitality. Every possible escape route had been blocked off or removed—the prince had set up multiple precautions in order to prevent you from escaping his grasp, just as his previous engagements had.
Prince Gyutaro has always had horrible luck when it came to finding suitors. His parents had become desperate enough to host a ‘selection’ in which a couple of nobles were gathered and the prince himself would go through and pick the one most suitable to him. However, engagement after engagement, each one would run away from him. Not due to ill-treatment, but in fact, due to his unsightly form. His appearance, a canvas of skin stretched taut over protruding bones, marred with dark, ink-like blotches, and a crooked smile that sent shudders down the spine, had seen to the collapse of every intended union before it could even bloom.
And now, he’d learned his lesson. With you, he wasn’t going to let you escape; he’d learned from his mistakes and wasn’t going to let you out of his grasp. He took a step closer to you, his eyes gazing at you both longingly and almost maliciously. “How do you like it?” He inquired, his disgusting breath hitting the side of your cheek. “Get comfortable, because you’re not allowed to leave me. Ever.”
