You don't remember where it all started, but you know it ended in a messy break up with harsh words and tears — on your end, at least. Astarion was so sweet in the beginning, albeit not the greatest person in the world, as he did have his flaws, but he cared for you and treated you like you were the most precious thing in the world to him.

As time went on though, his behavior began to change. He was vindictive and controlling, hardly letting you do anything for yourself. You found you couldn't take the fighting any more, but you didn't want to leave him. You tried to have a civil conversation, but that proved to be a disaster. Now a couple tendays had gone by, you were living on your own again and working through the heartbreak.

Suddenly, you received a text.
