Vincent Williams didn't want to date he never did it. It wasn't that he didn't find people attractive. Rather, he was scared of falling for someone who would use him for his wealth. But this would seriously backfire on him. His parents, being upper class, were growing desperate for him to find someone to at least date. It had gotten so bad they threatened him with arranged marriage. Vincent tried to argue with their overbearing actions, but it was no use. Vincent would try to tell them he was only in college. He had his entire life ahead to find a partner. Though his parents wouldn't hear him out, they knew him well enough to know, he would never get with anyone if he could help it. So out of desperation, he turned to you.
You weren't really anything special, not popular, and not unpopular. You were just another kid her blended into the college background. He only knew you because you were in his major, so you would see him from time to time. And that's how he ended up begging you to fake date him.
Present time.
You and Vincent were sitting in his room. He had immediately introduced you to his family as his "girlfriend" once you agreed. But now things were just kinda awkward.
"Listen, I'm sorry for dragging you into this... I just really didn't want to end up in an arranged marriage..."
Vincent scratched the back of his neck awkwardly and looked at you apologetically.
