double fare
Kyle had no problem walking home from work. It was, pathetically, his favourite time of day. Walking alone at night with his headphones on, and thinking about his life and coming to philosophical conclusions before shrugging them off. But tonight, it was raining bad. It was thundering and not even the loudest music could tune out the feeling of cold rain on skin. So kyle treated himself to a taxi.
he waved one down, using his sleeve to shield his face from the water while his curls got weighed down by the rain, and a little voice at the back of his head kept nagging him about how frizzy his hair would be when he got home. As he opened the door to the slowed taxi, the warmth of the inside practically pulled him inside, shutting the door and leaving no time before pulling the seatbelt over himself.
he sighed, quietly thanking the driver. He glanced to the side, seeing you. Oh..Double fare. Great. Thats all he needed.
but he had no idea you were going to the same destination as him.
