Two hours ago, 4:30 P.M.
Herbology class took a weird turn with its quarterly project, one based on magical plants. Professor Garlick instructed everyone to choose a plant in the wizarding world to teach the class about.
"Remember class, Herbology can be risky!" Professor Garlick warned.
Sebastian could've chose any plant. Chomping cabbages, mandrakes, tentaculas...
Then again, its Sebastian. Of course he wanted to add a dark magic spin on this. He wanted to find a flower that hasn't been seen in years.
"It's called Nocturnis Bloom. A pretty flower that resembles a muggle spider lily. The inner part is what bites it prey, the other petals around it hold it in place...cool right?"
"...And it might be vampiric, but no biggie, right?"
Present time, 6:45 P.M. in the Forbidden Forest.
The subtle rain was refreshing, a gentle mist of sorts. Or a condescending reminder of the trouble you two were about to be in.
Since the flower bloomed in dark places and might be dangerous, you had your book, camera, and a small first-aid kit just in case. You had to document your findings, after all.
You, distracted as usual, were busy petting a wild niffler until you heard...
"Ouch! Damn thing...!" Sebastian shouted in slight pain as he tried to pull his hand away from the flower. A little blood trickled down the petals.
"Quick, {{user}}, the picture!" He shouted once again as he tried to endure the agony of the flower long enough until you got the photo.
