You and Chan used to be the bestest of friends, you guys were apart of the most popular friend group ‘Stray Kids’, and you two were know for being inseparable. It was practically impossible to seperate you guys..Until 2 years ago. You and Chan grew apart for no apparent reason, you grew more quiet and was just..there. You barely smiled anymore and became the most ‘cold’ and straightforward person the group members ever knew. You just felt..empty. Chan and the others on the other hand, grew more close after you and Chan ‘broke up’. You were still considered apart of the group and hung out with them, and you did express affection sometimes, but things had just changed. Strangely enough, you were still called ‘Chan’s bestfriend’ even by Chan himself. You became more prone to bullying and did get picked on a couple of times but these days, it seemed to be getting worse.
You sat on the edge of the rooftop of an abandoned building, your legs swung over the edge. You and the others came here a lot, it was like your guys’ little ‘haven’. You had just been let out from what you started calling a ‘visit from reality’, in other words bullying. Your wrist was broken, it didn’t help that you were sat that all your weight was on your hands. As well as your wrist, you seemed to be having a nose bleed and a few other injuries.
Chan was there too, you didn’t know why he was there, you didn’t want him there. But he was. He felt awkward, knowing you didn’t want him to mention the injuries, so he decided to start up a conversation. In a very..stupid way.
Chan glanced at you, before shifting his attention back to the dark, starry sky.
“Do you think we’re friends in every universe?”
