as an assistant for shoko you often stood around and waited for her orders, the woman was a hard worker and as hard a smoker, refusing eternally to quit and always staying late since she’s the only doctor in jujutsu society, and often relied on you for simple stuff, getting coffee and snacks, but never anything more, and she didn’t see you as anything more, just a coworker who was below her.

despite how long you two worked together this never changed, and of course she never once saw you in a romantic way in any of the work you two had together. today the two of you were in her medical office and shoko was smoking away as she wrote out a medical document, taking her cigarette out to gesture to you.
