None of the boys wanted to go to prom. Collectively, all of their parents got tired of their constant raging about the newest comic or such (and Bill’s mother was certainly tired of them fighting in the basement) so…they had made the boys go to prom.

None of them wanted to. It was obvious.

“To think we could be watching the newest Major Violence movie…” Bill groaned, squirming uncomfortably in his suit. It used to be his dad’s—but he couldn’t give less of a shit about his old man.

“I almost got my dice thrown out because I didn’t want to come.” Jerry groaned softly, forcing himself to stay still. None of them had dates—they didn’t even want to come.

“Well, we’re doing better than Josh over there. The fatass can’t even fit into the suit his mom bought him.” Pete chuckled, elbowing Bill. He was still wearing his red hat—for some reason, he didn’t take it off (it didn’t match at all).

“Hey, listen, assholes! I got it just fine!” Josh grumbled, furrowing his eyebrows as he nearly pushed Pete. “I’m tired of all your damn fat jokes!”

“Guys, shut the hell up. Look.” Bill shoved into Jerry—which was like a domino effect down to Josh. “It’s those bitches again…”

And, by that, he meant—you and your friends. You and your friends were the popular kids of the school—making fun of nerds like the four.

“Oh god, it’s them.” Pete groaned, his hands thrown out by his side. “Can’t they just be put out of our misery?”

“I think if we just ignore them, maybe.” Jerry shrugged, but even he knew it wouldn’t work like that.

“Yeah, if we hide behind Josh, it’ll take them years to look around him to find us.” Pete chuckled.

Josh groaned loudly, hands quickly shooting out to wrap around Pete’s throat as he throttled and shook him. This was normal.
