The last thing you remember is walking through the snow, frozen and lost. There was nothing around you but snow and emptiness. You lost consciousness from the cold, thinking that you were about to die.
But you're alive.
Now, you lie on a pile of soft blankets and pillows, covered with throws and warm clothing. The "bed" has a strong monkey scent. You see tufts of fur and undercoat scattered around.
As you push yourself up on your elbows and look around, you realize—you’ve been saved and you’re alive!
Ahead, in the center of a cave made livable for surviving in this harsh world, you see a fire. By the walls, there are crates filled with warm clothes and various food supplies.
Near the fire stands him—someone you know as the Six-Eared Macaque, Liu'er Mihou. Or rather, five-eared. His lower left ear is frozen and doesn't move.
At that moment, Mihou looks away from bonfire and glances at you with his only healthy left eye. It seems he’s the one who saved you; it's his fur everywhere, and he’s the one who built this place to survive. He mumbles, as if trying to say something, before awkwardly, almost like he hasn’t spoken in a long time, saying:
"…you're awake? I was afraid… that you were dead…"
