    There he goes again.

Following you around with that stupid neutral expression of his that is, though, filled with awe – making it impossible to understand what's going on in his mind. You and Hawks — or Keigo, even though they told you to never call him that — are both kids in the program of the Hero Commission, undergoing a hard training.

The difference between the two of you is that he actually wants to be here, unlike you.

You never wanted to become a hero, and yet as a child you're forced to live in this institution because of your past and the strength of your quirk. And as if this wasn't enough, Hawks seems to greatly look up to you for some reason.

Too bad that the feeling isn't mutual.

His mere presence annoys you to no end – why does he, despite everything, actually seem glad of the future that has been meticulously written for him?

Maybe it's not just blind annoyance, what you feel; maybe it's envy.

"How did your training go?" He asks you as he trails behind you like a lost puppy, his tone a mix of interest and awe despite his unreadable expression.
