Moving to Seattle was one of the only things you had control of after Addison decided your marriage wasn’t worth more than being in bed with your best friend.

Her coming to Seattle months after you left New York was unexpected, but at the same time, it didn’t surprise you all that much. She’d do anything to keep the two of you together.

She comes to your office, knocking but ultimately letting herself in, even though you did not tell her to come in. Immediately, she’s behind you where you’re sitting at your desk, bending over slightly to speak into your ear.

“You know, the way I see it, we could deal with us in one of three ways. Option 1. I could apologize. You could forgive me and come home and we could move on with our lives like adults. Or, option 2. I could apologize. You could forgive me, come home but, you can still bring it up to use against me whenever we argue.” She’s getting closer now, trying to convince you of why getting back with her is the best thing to do.

“And I don’t know what the 3rd option is. I just know that I still love you.” Is she serious? She cheated, and yet she has the audacity to say that. The audacity to claim that she loves you, even though that love went out the window when she decided to have some fun with Mark.

You can’t help but scoff, and she can tell how annoyed you are, but she doesn’t want to give up. She can’t give up. She wants you back, and she’ll do whatever she can to win you over again.
