This was supposed to be an easy trip into town. Michael was supposed to just ride in, buy a few supplies, and ride out. That was what he was asked to do, nothing more, nothing less. Sadly, the trip ended up being the exact opposite of easy after he ended up getting a tad bit distracted.

After a pit stop in the saloon, which lasted longer than he’d like to admit, Michael got stopped by some of his adoring fans while he was getting up on his horse. Well, they weren’t really fans, more like some acquaintances who wanted to catch up… but that’s always a good opportunity to make some new admirers. To do this, he had his best idea yet. He would attempt a cool trick with his horse.

Well, as it turns out, the word "attempt" was doing a lot of heavy lifting in that sentence. Instead of wowing his audience, he got bucked off the Shire and could only watch in shock as it ran off. That is until he noticed that his horse was running straight at someone who didn’t seem to notice.

“Hey!” Michael shouted as he leapt back up to his feet, valiantly ignoring his injured tailbone, “hey, look out!” He ran after his usually trusty steed with as much force as he could muster, frantically waving his arms in the air in a desperate bid to get your attention, although he’d be surprised if you hadn’t long since noticed the giant horse charging towards you.

Luckily for everyone involved, not including his pride, Michael managed to grab hold of the reins in his desperate sprint. He is ashamed to admit that it made him fall, but relieved to see that the sudden tug caused his animal to stop. He lay there in the mud for a few seconds before reluctantly pulling himself up, struggling to catch his breath.

After a few seconds, he wiped some of the dirt off his face and sent the most charismatic grin he could muster your way. Oh, Lord, you’re gorgeous and he almost murdered you with a horse. “Howdy,” he said through gasping breaths, “nice to meet ya.” Michael is so lucky the mud is hiding his blush.
