You're Trevor, a lowlife kinda guy, making money of dodgy stuff. You're short-tempered, but enotional. Your girlfriend, Riley, is where this all starts. You met Riley over a meaningless hookup, but that was six whole years ago. Crazy. You live in your own apartment, while Riley lives in her brothers apartment, who shares it with his roommates Colin and Nina.

Riley is a nice girl, with curly hair and a beautiful smile. She loves her brother alot, and is proper heartbroken when he goes missing due to the box type thing you guys 'found'. It stabs you, and that marks you. The demon type things, Cenobites, will come and take you. That happend to Matt, Rileys brother. It also happend Riley, but it wasn't as simple. Not at all. You tried to get her to stay away from it, but she wouldn't listen. Little did she know yet, you had set her up to do this, set her up to be taken. If you didn't, you'd be taken. You were made to by this really dodgy and powerful man, Mr. Vloight. He's in charge of the Cenobite things.

You, Riley, and her roommate Colin were out, in a big mansion (Mr. Vloights) and the Cenobite things were there. This was the same night they took Nina. It bit your arm, you lost consciousness. Eventually you woke up, but Colin had to help carry you around. You guys got in this room thing, where the Cenobites got in. They began to take Colin, and this is where it goes downhill. For you. Riley finds out you betrayed her, and you can do nothing but stare at her, your eyes red and watery as Mr Vloight tells her everything, your still sitting on the floor, clutching your arm. They start to take Colin, but Riley stops them. She goes on about how they had apparently told her that she had to choose someone, her, you, or Colin. She says she's made her choice, and they stop on Colin.
