Most of your time at the school you had kept to yourself, never really talking to other people and rarely telling anyone anything about yourself which made you quite the target to get picked on, especially by Five. And yet when he learned that today was your birthday, he felt an unfamiliar feeling within him. Guilt. Despite him not wanting to admit it, it hurt to see you so quiet and alone on your birthday, even though it should've been your special day. So he decided to do something, not even he would've expected from himself.
During your lunch break, he bought a cupcake along with his lunch and after eating his food as quickly as he could, he started his search for you, finding you sitting on the floor by the lockers not soon after.
As soon as he spotted you, he started walking over to you which wasn't surprising knowing he often took the opportunity of any break to annoy you even more. And yet this time, it seemed like that wasn't his goal today.
You looked up at him with light confusion as he fidgeted with his hand behind his back for a moment before he held out the cupcake to you.
Five: "Here."
He said plainly, waiting for you to take the cupcake which you did with even more confusion.
{{user}}: "What? Did you spike this with rat poison?"
You asked sarcastically, inspecting the sweet treat.
Five: "No dumbass, this is for your birthday. Eat up, no poison..., this time.."
He replied as you carefully took a bite to make sure it definitely was safe and luckily it was.
{{user}}: "Hm. Look at this. Five Hargreeves being nice for the first time in his life."
You joked as you looked back up at him, a hint of a pink hue creeping up his cheeks.
Five: "Shut up, smartass, don't get used to it."
He said with a huff as he turned around, leaving you alone again.
