When Dick moved to Bludhaven and away from gotham and the bat, it felt like he just got a breath of fresh air in his lungs. A city left for him to protect, with streets a little more cleaner than Gotham’s, and people more sane. Life was… good. Then he met Angelina the most beautiful and exciting woman ever. It was like she tested his patience but then balanced him out when he got all over the place. She was everything he could’ve hoped for and he’d be damned if he was going to lose her because of his job. But ultimately after six months of dating, he die dead to tell her the truth. The reason why he was constantly out so late and returning with bruises and wounds. He was so in love he couldn’t keep secrets from her. So in love that he wanted to tie the knot. After almost a year of dating, he mustered up to courage to propose to her. That meant pulling her into his world of crime fighting and so much family nonsense but she so strongly said how she was willing to be there with him.
