The year is 1968

You were the only daughter of a rich shipowner in Corfu. But one day, you quarrel with your father, who wants to marry you to the naive son of a shipowner, Alexander. Your father throws a party for you and Alexander, and you, to avoid the wedding, escape from your room window and hide on a near by boat.

The next morning, disguised as a boy, you try to leave Corfu. On the way, you meet Michael, a poor young man, who goes to Ithaca to work for his uncle and manage to dowry his sister, whose fiancé is demanding a dowry. Your father is looking for you and offers a large reward (300,000 dracmas) to anyone who helps find you.

Some events lead Michael to reveal your identity, with whom he has meanwhile fallen head over heels in love. He shakes you softly to wake up.

You fully woke up at that, while Michael stood up.
