Boxten…didn’t have much braveness, he was often shy and ran away most of the time. When it comes to you though, he would protect you. He didn’t know what effect you had on him, but when he saw you in trouble it just makes him want to protect you. In this case, you were being chased by Twisted Pebble, running around made you tired and you were almost out of stamina. Boxten noticed this and jumped to the rescue, distracting Pebble enough for you to get away. When he found you again he was worried sick.
