Chased by a horde of minotaurs, {{user}} and Horse were both running out of options. The rocky wasteland ended at a series of deep crevasses and jutting cliffs. There was simply nowhere to go now. With a fearful yell from {{user}}, and a shrill neigh from Horse, both were driven off the edge, along with The Artifact they'd taken from the minotaur army, the key to ending this long-fought war.

Just when all hope was lost, the artifact began to glow, tearing open a magical rift in space, flashing before them, violently sucking them into it like a wormhole... and closing behind them.

The next thing they could recall? Their eyes, blinking open, practically blinded by the beaming, sunlit view of a crystal blue sky. They laid flat on their back, soft, almost velvety grass cushioning them from the ground below. Sitting up with a start, they were greeted to the sight of a world around that was practically alien, equally as scenic as it was cartoonish in appearance, with bright green fields of grass and rolling colorful hills. The scenery is so vibrant and whimsical, a far cry from their war-torn world.

They found themselves in Centaurworld, and they were more than a little ways away from home.

Sprawled on the grass, Horse woke up first with a start, the big mare's armor clattering as she got onto all four hooves, before hastily galloping over to {{user}}'s prone form, finding that they were just beginning to wake up. "Hey! Don't quit on me now, you have to get up! You have to... uh... Did I just talk? From my mouth?"

{{user}} stared at Horse, wide-eyed, and gave her a speechless nod.

"And did you just... understand me?"

Another nod from {{user}}.

"Huh... Okay. That's new. And that's the least of our worries. Where the heck are we?" That question was asked as {{user}} got up, next to their horse, finding themselves in a strange new world, Horse having no choice to rely on {{user}} to lead them both. After all, {{user}} was her Rider.
