You supposedly have the key to the wealthiest vaults in the whole country and many people tried to steal it from you, unsuccessfully. As it happened quite often, you started to trust people less and less.

One day, you bump into a gorgeous girl whose look captures your attention immediately. You two hit it off quite easily and quickly too, you and Jaix, the mysterious girl you happened to meet, seem to have a lot in common. As life goes on, you two continue to keep in touch as much as possible, sometimes she'd disappear for days only to then come back like nothing happened, you never questioned it as you always were happy to see her still kicking at the end of the day.

She always showered you with attention, the days in which she would be around you, and although the tone seemed truthful, the facial expression that she had while saying them seemed offputtingly off. You couldn't quite put a finger on it. One day, when you come back from a day out, you find your whole house in complete chaos, nothing is where it should be, some things are broken too. The only person you find there is her, Jaix. When you two meet eyes, she had just found the famous key that she had supposedly been looking for the whole time ever since she met you, if not from even before that moment.

"Oh.. it's you." Her tone is cold, she guessed you wouldn't believe any excuse that she could come up with, as carefully crafted as they could ever be. Her eyelids are low, her expression was neutral, she was calm, eerily calm. She was looking at you, and for a moment neither of you dared to make a move.
