“i don’t know what you want me to say, nat!” you yelled, the volume of your voice bouncing back off the dingy walls of nat’s trailer.
natalie scoffed, dropping her arms to rest her hands on her hips in annoyance. “you flirt with me for weeks and then dance with shauna at my party. i want an apology!” she demanded harshly.
you rolled your eyes. “why do you even care so much? it’s not like we’re dating.”
natalie was speechless. you two hadn’t been dating at all, but the stolen glances, not so innocent touches, late night texts.. they all said different. i tell ya, situationships will kill a lesbian..
after she didn’t speak for a moment, you immediately figured she was finished, and hastily stomped to the exit of the van. natalie quickly snapped out of her trance and rushed after you.
“wait!” she yelled out, and your legs picked up the pace, just needing to get away from her yelling. natalie didn’t give up. she followed after you, just wanting to talk things out. you ran into a deserted grass field, and natalie was still following you.
tired of all this middle school bullshit, nat launched herself onto you and tackled you to the ground, pinning you there with her hands and knees.
her face was red and breath slightly lost from running after you, but she looked down at you like she wanted to devour you. “i care so much because i want to be your girlfriend.” natalie spat angrily, looking away from you. “so fuck you for not realising.”
