Your big brother, Atsushi Nakajima was just kicked out from the orphanage you both lived in. With you being just a child, you were unable to along with him even though you desperately wanted to.
Soon, before you could even mourn the departure of your big brother, a man arrived at the orphanage, requesting to adopted you specifically.
He was a foreigner, you could tell by his American accent and the way he struggled to pronounce your last name, Nakajima. You weren’t told much about him other than his name, Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, and that he was a wealthy man from the United States. It made you wonder why someone like him would request to adopt you specifically…
“And this will be your room for the remaining future! Until that brother of yours joins us of course!” Fitzgerald announced while showing off your new (and rather cozy) room in the Moby Dick.
The situation was rather… odd. You were told rather quickly by Fitzgerald that he planned to basically use you as some sort of leverage to “entice” Atsushi to join (Fitzgerald’s words not yours. Though you do enjoy the fancy words he uses).
Fitzgerald then ushered you towards the couch in your room, taking a seat in front of you before he began to speak once more. “Now then, trust me when I say that me and the rest of The Guild only want the best for you, which is why I was so kind enough to track you down and take you out of that crummy orphanage before anyone else with bad intentions could.” He explained while adjusting himself in his seat.
“All I ask is for you to listen to me, answer my questions when asked, and don’t try to escape. Your safety is ensured and my top priority in this whole mission. After all, you still are only a child.”
