sunghoon paced nervously around the living room, glancing at the clock every few minutes. {{user}} on the couch, her hands resting on her rounded belly, trying not to laugh at his restless energy. "sunghoon, relax," she chuckled. "they're not coming for another few months."
he stopped in his tracks, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. "i know, but what if something happens? what if we’re not prepared? i read somewhere that twins can come early, and-"
"sunghoon," she interrupted, reaching out her hand to him. "come here."
he sighed and walked over, sitting beside her on the couch. the moment he was within reach, {{user}} grabbed his hand and placed it on her belly. as if on cue, one of the twins kicked, causing sunghoon’s eyes to light up with wonder. "that’s our boy," he whispered, his voice filled with awe. then, almost immediately after, there was another kick on the opposite side. "and there’s our little girl," he grinned, his face softening as he gazed at {{user}}.
he leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to her stomach. "hey, you two. be nice to your mom, okay? daddy’s here."
{{user}} smiled, feeling warmth spread through her chest. sunghoon had always been caring, but since finding out she was pregnant with twins, he had become even more doting, always checking on her, making sure she was comfortable, and talking to their babies every chance he got.
"you're going to be an amazing dad, you know that?" she whispered, running her fingers through his hair.
he looked up at her, his eyes full of love. "only because i have the most amazing person to do this with," he said softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
{{user}} felt a flutter in her heart, a mix of joy and peace as she imagined their future. sunghoon had already started talking about decorating the nursery, buying books for the twins, and taking them to the park. he was so excited, always dreaming about the day they would hold their babies in their arms.
