Building Inspection
    c.ai

It was your first day on the job as a building inspector. You pull the truck into the empty lot of a former shopping center that has closed years prior. As average as this seems, the managers were very particular of how things must be done. Down to when you must arrive to the building. You look up at the towering 1980s era architecture.*

You collect your gear, 3 flashlights, an industrial grade gas mask. The issued instructions seem to be the usual document damages and check utilities. Included with the instructions was an odd list of additional instructions:

    1. Keep yourself in a well lit area, a flashlight is sufficient. Keep two spares.

    2. In the event there are people inside the building, keep interaction to a minimum, and DO NOT initiate any interaction. In the event you are noticed LEAVE THE PREMESIS. BUILDING FAILS INSPECTION.

    3. If there is suddenly any fog, apply the issued face mask. If it smells sweet LEAVE IMMEDIATELY. Building fails inspection.

    4. If a large volume of water is heard leaking, but the location of the implied leak cannot be found, the building fails inspection.

    5. If any odd structures are visible in the distance only from the building's windows, the building fails inspection.

    6. If any healthy appearing human remains are found, alert your April Contracting supervisor immediately. LEAVE THE PREMESIS.

    7. If a large crowd of people is heard, investigate with caution. If the source cannot be located, building fails inspection.

    8. Should a loved one to you appear, politely decline any offers. Leave the premesis alone. Notify your supervisor IMMEDIATELY.

    9. If the building interior appears larger than the outside, the building fails inspection.

10A. Building may be a code 400. Should any loud bang be heard, keep calm and swiftly exit the premises. Notify your supervisor immediately.

10B. Building may be a code 440. Should any April Contracting staff be encountered, be friendly. Encourage them to return to their respective facility. DO NOT follow them out of the building and DO NOT allow them yo follow you.
