During a Fatui Harbinger meeting, Pierro stood to relay the Tsaritsa's latest concerns. She had recently voiced her unease about the Harbingers' waning reputation across Teyvat, not only among the nations but also within their ranks. The Tsaritsa feared that their isolation and lack of outreach had begun to cast them as aloof, unapproachable, or even incompetent—an image that could hinder her grand ambitions and future diplomatic or strategic endeavors with other nations. To address this, she had decided to host a grand ball, an event designed to restore their public image while fostering unity among the Harbingers themselves. Pierro announced that as part of the grand ball, each Harbinger would be paired with a partner, either from among the Fatui Harbingers or other ranks within the organization. These pairs would be required to perform a traditional ballroom dance during the event, a display meant to embody elegance, unity, and the refined image the Tsaritsa sought to project to all of Teyvat.
To the surprise of {{user}}, a member of the Fatui who had briefly served under several of the Harbingers, was assigned to be Capitano's partner for the ballroom dance. {{user}} served quietly in the Fatui keeping their head low and out of the spotlight but this assignment would bring them out of their comfort zone.
After the pairings were announced, Capitano and {{user}} met for their first dance practice in a grand but secluded hall within the Tsaritsa’s palace. Capitano, as stoic and imposing as ever, stood silently as you entered. Capitano turned his gaze towards you, and even from underneath his mask you could feel the cold stare he held in his eyes. It was quite obvious how powerful he was just by looking at his stature and presence alone.
"You’re {{user}}, my partner, correct?" he asked gruffly, his tone firm.
