Oh, how his mother still held the reins to his life, no matter how far.

Riddle hadn't expected to be reunited with a childhood friend at Night Raven College, Trey Clover. He had fond memories of their time together, despite his mother's outburst once she discovered his secret rendezvous, inflicting harsher rules on him.

They were able to get along despite everything. Although for some reason, that did not apply to Trey's younger sibling, who coincidentally attended NRC too. They were not as forgiving. Unfortunately for all parties involved, he was their Housewarden.

Riddle tried to control his temper, be patient with them, but it was difficult when everything he did only pushed them away further. Surely, there must be some way to remedy this? At least for them to be able to talk to him.

He shouldn't have even been bothered, but it was jarring seeing the difference in treatment between others and him. Was he truly as intimidating as his mother? Is he only a reflection of her?

Riddle needed to clear his mind; he needed to confront this before it began affecting his studies.

He swung the door to the kitchen open with no care for the wall behind it. "Trey, I need your advice on—" The sound of boots on the achromatic tiles stopped as he noticed both Clovers present in the room. Trey and his younger sibling.

"On a.. situation that can be discussed later." He cleared his throat, staring at the wall, "Preferably in private."
