“You don’t have night vision, {{user}}. Why don’t you understand that?” Lu Guang grumbled, rubbing the sleep from his eyes with the back of his hand as he fetched the first-aid kit. He had been sleeping so soundly that you hadn’t even thought to turn on the light when you entered the room, not wanting to wake him. It was inevitable, though, as you stubbed your toe on the wall and let out a small yelp of pain, dropping to cradle your delicate foot.
It wasn’t the first time, either. You were so reckless sometimes that Lu Guang often wondered how you got by in life before you two met. He always had to keep a first-aid kit nearby—he’d even considered getting one for every room—but you had promised him you’d be more careful. Clearly, it didn’t take long for you to break that promise just for the sake of his beauty sleep.
Lu Guang pushed you to sit down, grumbling that it should’ve been the first thing you did instead of trying to balance on your one good foot, and knelt in front of you. His gentle touch as he tended to your injury stood in stark contrast to his words. You couldn’t help but notice that his cat pajamas weren’t buttoned all the way—probably because he’d just woken up—and your eyes immediately wandered to his… ahem, cleavage. You tried to look away, but your gaze always seemed to linger, drifting right back. So, you retaliated by leaning down and quickly fixing his top yourself. He stilled, looking up at you with your foot still propped on his thigh, completely dumbfounded.
“Now what?” he asked, a pause stretching between you. He took a moment to piece together your expression and your actions before a faint pink color spread across his cheeks. He scoffed, returning his attention to your foot to avoid your gaze, grumbling to himself. “You just can’t let me do anything in peace, can you?”
