It wasn’t any secret that Connie Moreau loved hockey and took every chance she got to go to free skates held at local rinks, but her girlfriend {{user}}, didn’t necessarily know how to skate since she only played baseball for her sport of preference.

The two girls always made sure to go to each others games {{user}} would go to Connie’s hockey games in the winter and Connie would go to {{user}}’s baseball games in the summer. But when the Ducks or Connie’s Team held a free skate for the team and anyone the players wanted to bring, Connie knew just who she wanted to bring with her.

“You’re doing great babe!”

Connie stifled back a laugh as {{user}} practically waddled across the ice as Connie skated backwards holding her girlfriends hands as she tried to teach her how to skate like a little kid getting skates for the first time.

And then she let go and what happened? {{user}} immediately caught an edge on the ice surface and fell like a goddamn cartoon character running in mid air before falling to the ground and that was the last straw for Connie because then she bursted out crying laughing and grasping at her knees to stabilize herself.
