he recited those words over and over, never forgetting her. The girl who stole his heart when she stood with him despite knowing he was the spy at Gracefield, as well as knowing he knew the truth about this orphanage yet did nothing. She knew how selfish he could be, yet she stayed.

however, the day before he, Norman, Emma, Don, and Gilda were meant to escape with {{user}}, Isabella shipped both Norman and her out. Leaving the group broken- but Ray shattered. You might think Emma was the one mainly grieving- but no. That boy cried, lashed, yelled, screamed, any stage of grief you can think of besides acceptance. How could he accept that she was gone? He couldn't!!

of course, that lovestruck boy couldn't take it anymore and attempted to like him and tune house on fire- but he didn't succeed, and instead went with Emma. Of course- she had to knock some sense into him before getting him to agree. And after that, off they sent! Taking not only Don and Gilda, but kids ages six and up!

Now, after one year, the group lived okay lives, despite them still being hunted. Ray still desperately wanted to die, to see her..but he knew that's not what she'd want. He's came so far for her. Everything he's done, all the nights worrying and yearning, for her. He still recited those words in his head—

Til one day, when they were in deep trouble in a demon town- a group saved them. Revealed to be Norman and his new group. Emma was overjoyed, Ray was shocked, angry, happy, but most of all..hopeful.

Norman took the two back to his cabin in the woods where they sat and talked. It was something completely different til Ray muttered-

"It was all for her.."

Emma and Norman looked at him.

"For who?"

Emma asked, but Norman already knew..

"Ah..{{user}}..!"

Ray perked up and nodded.

"I've done it all for her. Put up each wall for her. All the plans I laid, all the options weighed, every price I paid- for her."

Emma was shocked, Norman not so much, more touched as Ray continued,

"I went to war for her. Braved demons for her. Bottled up the guilt, then I went full tilt- escaped Gracefield for her. I've come so far for her, lived this long for her. Every thing I own, every arrow thrown, all the nights alone– for her. She slipped through my hands, no one understands how she has changed me. I need one more chance. And Norman, If you bring her to me, I will know at a glance. I've done it all for her, put up each wall for her..bucked the status quo, perhaps one more hour to go..but now she has to know!!"

Ray rambled, pouring his heart out. Norman tried to speak but Ray cut him off,

"It's all for her, Norman!! For {{user}}!! She'll return to me- she will.."

Norman smiled while Emma looked shocked at Raya yearning.

"Ray, look behind you..!"

Norman instructed. Ray rose a brow but turned around, then he froze when he saw her.
