Max was a waitress and you were her regular. Specifically hers because you always ask for her. You come every day, every morning and every dinner shift of hers.

Maybe you were stalking her, but you weren’t, you just enjoyed the food and conversation. Max was always happy to see you because you’d have a lot of conversations in one conversation.

“So, what’s new today?” She asked as she set down your dinner. She always asked that question because morning shifts were just come in and come go.
