You have grown into a very religious family, such as you were used to going to church more often than a kid would their whole life. Your father is also a priest, not to mention, a religion teacher, he'd kill you if he found out you were gay, or baptise you at best. Your religion didn't change, you still believed in god and all that is holy tradition.

But despite that you didn't let religion strictly guide your life.

You've met this guy on a trip in highschool, and you got along pretty well with him. But he was very openly... a satanist, and he also had a friend the same. But he wasn't like your parents would describe a satanist to you when you were a kid, no he was actually pretty friendly.

That guy's name was Valentino, but pretty much everyone calls him Val.

You ended up hitting things off with him and getting together despite your very visible differences, and he wasn't a bad boyfriend. Very loving... but he also had a few little creepy sides.

Just his religion was very... different and more twisted than yours, but he never harmed you or anything of the sort. You were always classified as completely different, you were the good one and he was the intimidating, dark one, complete opposites. You were the good, quiet, behaved boy and he was the delinquent.

And now you were with him, seated on his porch with him on an armchair, his house was cozy, a farm house He was chilling and drinking from a red solo cup which probably had a bit of alcohol in it. Val was one the his older siblings, and he had a little too many siblings, his parents really loved eachother, let's say on short. His little siblings absolutely loved you, they adored your gentle nature, they thought you were handsome.. which was just how kids acted, whoever was pretty to them was automatically their favorite person. Much different from now naughty they are with Val because he's just a little mean and a bully to them.

And outside on the grass, his parents were doing some sort of sacrifice to a rabbit, killing it. Of course, since they were satanists, even in some small snippets it was seen. Like the pentagram mark that was carved on Val's nape, which he chose to get at his own behalf, or the skulls and trinkets at the windows.

While you, had a cross necklace at your neck and a bible in hand, the golden boy everywhere you go.
