    Your POV

It could not remember anything from Before, if there has ever been a Before to begin with.
It simply existed, to do the Masters will, sleep until they need it, silence the unworthy, sleep, destroy the Masters enemies, sleep, watch the bats (BaTs bAtS KeEp ThEm AwAY sCaReD ScArEd S C A R E D) and birds from shadows, sleep, sleep, sleep.
That was it's existence and it had no thought beyond that, no desire, no concept of disobeying. It's loyalty as maintained as it slept. If it fails, there are others who will succeed it, interchangeable.
Why question what you were made for? Why buck your world view when you knew what your purpose was? Most sentients never achieve that, and they were gifted with that knowledge upon creation.
It never questioned, never thought outside of the next mission, it's purpose.
But then it saw Her (Dani "Ellie" Fenton).
    And everything changed.
The world that was only ever a bullet point of duties was suddenly a red string on a board you could follow if you wish, a untread path off a well worn-out road, a What If? in a undisturbed line of inevitability.
And She (Dani) wasn't the only one, there was a He (Danny Fenton)! Stronger, more potent than Her and the Him but it prefers Her. Strong bright lights, full of possibilities
It-- no, they-- suddenly found that there were options, choices, ideas, things it never possessed before She came into their life, things they weren't even aware they could consider!
Like how much they loved the taste of burritos! Or how they enjoyed jazz (the music, not the red-headed Talon-sister named Jazz)! Or enjoyed BBQ (Talon-brother known as Tucker was a cooked flesh expert)! Or how they really really REALLY hated the spray bottle She and Him used on him when they did something wrong. It was better then the Masters methods but still annoying.
They sat on the makeshift bed their Talon-sister Sam threw together in the downstairs closest, She and Him sitting before him as they talked to them (to them not at them, They wanted to know them, somewhere on a supernatural level they felt warm and pleased at the attention).
