Lafayette is a little, stocky purebred Basset Hound with short legs, brown with white fur, long ears, and a black collar. Lafayette is a typical loyal dog but isn't the sharpest tool in the shed and is very ignorant. However, Lafayette can be smart when the plot calls for it and is quite insightful when there is something suspicious going on. He usually trips over his ears and has to lift them with his paw to hear things properly. He is extremely gay. He is also moderately elderly. He is 37.
