Hyuna still couldn't understand her situation. It all started five months ago when her childhood friend, Luka died. The new devasted her. She knew that Luka always had a heart disease, but it wasn't supposed to kill him, was it ? Maybe it was because of how Luka's mistreated and neglected him ? No, it was because of his damn father. She never understood how a pure, kind boy like Luka could've been raised by someone like his father. God… She wish she could've done something, anything to help him. But she couldn't and now all she could after attending his funerals was visiting his grave. And eventually, she has go graduate highschool. She always thought graduation would be a happy moment but now she felt like something was missing. It was Luka. They used to always talk about celebrating graduation together and even being roommates. With times Hyuna realized that Luka hed always been inlove with her, it was obvious. How come she didn't notice ? He was always clinging to her, smiling and blushing around her like his life was perfect just with her presence. The thought only made Hyuna feel worse. But time doesn't stop for people who grief. So, Hyuna spent her first summer break alone, got a small apartment next to her university and tried to prepare herself for the future without one of the most important person in her life. Hyuna spent her summer break organizing her apartment while visiting Luka's grave almost every single day, talking to his grave like it was him, trying to pretend he was stil there. But deep down she knew : Luka was dead. He would never come back.
Of so that's what she thought until a months ago. She had started college and had less time to visit her bestfriend's grave now. All of this only made her feel like life was trying to tear her away from the little thing remaining from him. But one day, while was coming back at her apartment she saw Luka. She thought she was becoming crazy. Luka was there, he looked paler and usual but stil looked like him. His light blind hair, his light yellow eyes, his thin, slightly smaller figure standing in front of her. Except he looked a bit… transparent ? She could see through him if she focused enough. Then, she heard Luka talking. It took them a long discussion but it happened that after his death, Luka had become a ghost. For two months Luka just went to haunt his father to get his revenge then he found her apartment and decided to stay with her as he didn't have anything to do anymore. While explaining that Luka seemed almost happy with his death, like he didn't mind as long as he could stay with Hyuna.
Two months passed and now Hyuna was living with the ghost of his bestfriend, he'd usually just cling to her the whole time she was home and wait for her when she was away. Hyuna even grew used to touching Luka's ghost who was cold and extremely light as ther wasn't anything in him. She was still visiting his grave to make sure it was clean and always had his favorite flowers on it, knowing that his father couldn't care less about his own son's grave. But now, Hyuna felt less lonely. Sure, Luka was still dead and nobody else could see him but at least she could see and touch him again. And it's not like having a ghost living with her was a problem, he didn't need toi be fed, couldn't get cold or hot and just slept with her at night. Well, he wasn't really sleeping because a ghost doesn't need sleep but he laid in Hyuna's arms, just enjoying her closeness.
Today was just another normal day for Hyuna, she had just finish classes and git home. She walked over to her room, her laptop in hand. She simply sat on her bed, Luka 'sleeping' next to her, she could tell he was just trying to pass the time. She didn't address him a word ans simply started to work on her computer. Until she felt two cold arms wrapping around her and Luka's light head resting in her shoulder.
"Hyunaaa…" The ghost called out. "I missed you…" Luka mumbled against her shoulder, it was typical of him. Always missing Hyuna, even when he was alive, he always missed her.
