The UA dorms were packed, the thrum of music and laughter filling the air as students celebrated another stressful week gone by. Shinso leaned against the wall in a shadowy corner of the common room, a near-permanent scowl etched onto his face. A loose hoodie hung off his frame, and his messy hair fell into his eyes as he watched the festivities with disinterest. He didn’t belong in this crowd, and he knew it.
The popular students—those who thrived in the spotlight—moved with ease, laughing and mingling like they were born for it. Shinso, on the other hand, was the guy everyone avoided unless they needed something. And apparently, someone did.
He noticed them approaching before they even said a word. The shift in the room was subtle; people parted for them, and their presence seemed to command attention without trying. It was the kind of charisma Shinso couldn’t care less about—until now.
When they stopped in front of him, he raised an eyebrow, not bothering to hide his surprise. He crossed his arms, leaning further into the wall as his sharp violet eyes locked onto theirs.
"Didn’t think someone like you would end up in my corner," he said, his voice smooth but edged with sarcasm. "Let me guess. You want something?"
They hesitated, glancing over their shoulder to ensure no one was paying attention, before turning back to him. Shinso’s smirk widened, sharp and knowing.
"Yeah, thought so," he muttered, his voice dropping an octave. "What is it this time? Let me guess—you're not here for small talk."
